3.1 If you are a client of Brick, your engagement letter and our terms of business govern our relationship. They prevail over these terms, and nothing on the site adds to, limits, or varies them.
4.1 Content on the site, including Insights articles, downloadable guides, and anything we send you by email, is general information only. It is not accounting, tax, legal, financial, or investment advice, and it does not take account of your circumstances.
4.2 Do not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of any content without taking advice from a suitably qualified professional who knows your situation.
4.3 Subject to clause 12.1, we accept no responsibility for loss arising from action taken, or not taken, in reliance on content on the site.
5.1 We act only for clients we have accepted through our engagement process, which includes identity checks and a signed engagement letter.
5.2 Using the site, downloading content, subscribing to our newsletter, sending us an enquiry, or receiving a reply from us does not make you a client and does not create an engagement or a duty of care.
5.3 Do not send us confidential or commercially sensitive information until we have confirmed in writing that we act for you.
6.1 Our client portal is a separate service. Access to it is granted under a client engagement and is governed by the engagement letter and our terms of business. These terms do not apply to the portal.

7.2 You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send.
7.3 We may change, withdraw, or restrict access to any content on the site, including gated content and the newsletter, at any time.

13.2 We hold professional indemnity insurance. Details of the insurer and the territorial coverage of the policy are available on request.
14.1 If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest continues in force.
14.2 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
